First time I saw Naked Lunch I hated the fuck out of it, dld it again recently going to watch it again. If you think about it it isn't that bad, I think it's just trying to convey someone addicted to heroin or some shit.

No I agree, it's conceptually really good. But it's dialogue/plot is pretty corny at times, some of his movies are like that.

I rewatched Naked Lunch a while back, it's much better than I thought. I actually like it, it's well thought out with the double entendre thing the whole way. I remember screaming at someone that the movie was pretentious bullshit back in the day that it sucked balls.

Have you ever seen M Butterfly, another David Cronenberg flick. That one I find disturbing, at least the actual plot of it since it's based on a true story. Woudn't say it's great just interesting.

Equilibrium was crap, it made absolutely no sense, they live in this society where all things considered art are violently removed, yet everything is highly stylized. The architecture, clothes etc. Then you have these pointless retard action scenes all the time. It's just another homo action movie pretending to be deep under the guise of science fiction.
