8 will be the best, and final 'rare cuts' volume. its almost all recent shit, with a few lost gems thrown in. i see TSOI acknowledging these mixes as part of their discography, promoting them on their official facebook, and mentioning them in interviews (gonna throw a clip of a joey baggs interview with him mentioning them.. lol) alot of other emcees are getting head nods on these mixes as well. the TSOI facebook has been being updated often, with new tracks popping up constantly, so these volumes are unnecessary at this point. im about done with all the free promotional shit for a while anyways... the jak progresso box set is at cult status already, and VOLUME 8 is full of bangers. shit, even necro and a couple NHH alumni (alhazred, skammadix) have appearances on this one. i plan on dropping vol. 8, jak's 'afterbirth' mix, another premonist collection, and upping a couple solos (free releases) that arent in here yet, all within the next day or two..

youre in luck. almost all of vol. 8 is newer material. this one feels like it could be an actual TSOI release. its solid, and i put extra work into the volume leveling. this one almost serves as a sampler to what TSOI has going on now. it has cuts from all the recent solos, and newer collabos with other artists. its my personal favorite edition, and makes a good follow-up to vol. 7.
