Dude this mithras album is the most interesting thing i've ever heard. The solos and interludes destroy me I love them, yet it's like I can't get into the songs. The cleans sound like Skwisgard as well. I keep listening to this album can't make a fucking decision, what a crazy album. Props for mentioning it. I feel totally submersed in another world at times, I like that feeling.

I think they will be a headliner, because their last tour here they where a opener, I think I mentioned how I was slightly regretful that I didn't see em.

When the light fades away interlude reminds me of the movie stalker, one of the illest movies of all time.

you checked out "Worlds Beyond the Veil" already right? that seems to be their most popular album, I just think the production is superior on Behind Shadows. i'm really excited for the new one coming out, same with Martyr. I know you didn't like "Warp Zone" much but you might like "Feeding the Abscess" that album grabbed me the most when I first heard it

Yea I heard worlds beyond the veils years ago, I don't like it. Muddy production, don't think it's as spacey I could be wrong.

I'm going to delete the tracks on this and keep the interludes for some metal mixes. I think I just have a thing for synth shit. Somewhere in Time is one of my favorite Maiden albums. Layered synths have a really nice atmosphere.

I'll check out that martyr record.

Stalker is a goat movie, I'm reading the book it's based on right now. Can't say if you would enjoy the flick or not.

Sometimes I just need to force myself to make a decision or I get caught in album purgatory where I keep listening to a record trying to figure out if I want to buy it or delete it.

I would say its pretty close as far as spaceyness goes, I just wish that one and their first album would get remastered already. musically I think they're awesome its just the crappy prodcution thats really holding them back.

is Stalker all in black and white or is that just for certain scenes?

I think stalker is mostly filmed in Sepia or some shit, with some parts color. I would understand if someone didn't like it. I personally think its phenomenal. I think parts where filmed at a radioactive site and a bunch of the people working on it died years later.
