I'd be down to watch a buckethead show. Not personally a fan,, his catalog is fucking massive, when he dies he will probably have surpassed Frank Zappa. I don't know what album to pick to actually get into Buckethead, plus I have that thought in the back of my mind that it's quality over quantity with him. Most bands have definitive albums you can start with.

Was thinking about buying that Screaming For Vengeance reissue. I own like 5 Priest albums that is not one of them. I don't understand why people point to that as one of their better albums, Hellion and Electric Eye fucking rule but I never thought the rest of the album was that great.

buckethead is not like most artists. listen to at least 10 of his albums to start with. really.

my favorite albums by him are crime slunk scene, pepper's ghost, colma, and albino slug.


all of his music is quality depending on your mood. i feel like he is the greatest artist ever, in anything.

thanks, i'll check out some of those Buckethead albums you suggested, i've enjoyed most of the stuff i've heard him play. he has like nearly 40 full length albums not including all the stuff he's had guest spots on and bands he's been in, shits ridiculous lol

I think I read something once that said one of bucketheads softer albums was made for his mom to listen to when she was sick with cancer or something. I thought that was really nice.
