I was listening to Incurso on headphones before I went to sleep (typically when I analyze things best), this might sound strange but I felt humbled as a listener. I've already heard it at least 8 times in full. The overall technically of the instruments, the song structures, tempos, shit melted my mind. You notice how metal actually challenges and pushes the listener, where as a lot of other musical genres you listen to, albums are in your comfort zone.
Incurso is a amazing piece of work. I'm copping that shit, thanks for the recommendation. Also listened to Cosmogenesis, love how the bassist, is the man and it's so high up in the mix. I think since the first time I heard cosmogenesis last year, till now I've grown as a listener, I think you know what I'm talking about.
Yo about the Ripper, I didn't like him either on Judas Priest or on pretty much much anything. Cold Winds on Timeless Days, is one of his best vocal performances. I would understand if you didn't like it.
This thread is going to make me poor.
