I've heard both albums, wasn't a fan when I heard them. Morbid Saint get's mentioned a lot for a band with only one album. I'll prob listen to it again. Sometimes I think i'm picky with old school thrash because of production. Not sure what it is I'm just picky.

You know who i'm not a fan of that seems to get all the praise in the world... Opeth. I have given then more than a fair listen too. I like the track Blackwater Park and parts off that album, but the cleans bother me. When I first heard It years ago I thought the cleans where the gayest thing in the world. More tolerable for me now. I respect them and think their style of music is dope just can't get into it.

no i've heard of Artillery before and am pretty sure i've heard some of their music at some point, just don't remember i'm liking it so far. black metal may have originated in Norway but its the French black metal bands right now that impress me the most

I think Grin is the weakest Coroner album, Mental Vortex and No More Color are probably my favorite albums by them

Well if someone is lurking and hasn't heard it, it's a pretty accessible album. Thrashterpiece.

You ever hear Overkill's Ironbound? I'm sure you have. I'm not really a fan of Overkill but that album is solid, really dig it. Good headbanging shit.

There is probably a lot of albums out there I'm just picky and don't dig them.
Skimming my cd rack thing real quick..I don't see anything you woudn't know about. Mercyful Fate's Don't Break the Oath? That shit rules, album was a breaking point for me along with Sound of Perseverance and other things that made me start digging more for new metal.

I like Sodom's last 3 albums. m16/sodom/in war and pieces. M16 was the best out of the 3, that album is actually really dope worth listening to. Sipes who used to post here recommended that to me, satan bless his soul he has parted us now.

The Haunted's The Haunted Made me do it has some good leads on it. Sure you have listened to it. I like that album I don't think it's anything on par with At The Gates but still a good listen.
Gwar's War Party is dope...
Ok I think I'm fully tapped out now.

Yo you know what didn't get mentioned that I feel should be in here. Vio-lence's Eternal Nightmare. Lol I can't think about that album with out smiling, Sean Killiam's vocals sound absurd to me, but they are dope.

Reading about the song "Den Ensomme Nordens Dronning"

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russian_submarine_Kursk_explosion

What a horrifying fuck up for humanity. Anyways Triumvirate was a good recommendation thanks again. The songs reflect the subject matter really well. Hope they reissue it soon.
