play through the first disc at least... i mean really, if el-p's last album was your album of the year, at least give it a fair listen.. Not a fan of it. Why would you make a mix of this when albums are available? because his discography is extensive.. and hard as fuck to find. consider it a "greatest hits" with extras. some of those albums you cant find ANYWHERE, including his own site. oh, and because every track is fire.. youre going to be the minority if youre not digging it.. oh, and im not posting details due to respect for necro.. i doubt they are best friends.. regardless, wasnt trying to advertise another rapper on his site.. my bad, i thought you were fluent in exaggeration and sarcasm lol. i compare the two because they are both creative, are both pioneers, and are both abstract, but on entirely different levels. what i was trying to get at was if you liked el-p's album, you should at least give disc 1 a spin. they are nothing alike, but have similar qualities.. even some, and i stress SOME, of the beats are on the same level. i see similarities in vocabulary and delivery at times as well. personally, i think this guy pulls it off better. just an opinion. if his music was for everybody, he'd be on the radio..
and even though its a "greatest hits" of sorts, i know for a fact most people havent heard a nice majority of these tracks. nobody even knows this guy is still around, or exists... and that in itself is pretty ridiculous.

Blunted Sultan is a dope producer.. him and premonist are a couple of my favorite producers right now.. i like that down tempo kinda shit.. i just heard a couple tracks off the upcomming Boxguts & Blunted Sultan LP, im looking forward to it. as far as the download, yeah, now that the trolls came in with their "too cool" attitudes, i have no problem saying the 500mb download is a 5 disc jak boxset. discs 1-4 are all jak, starting from "B23" (2012) and ending with "The House That Jak Built" (1999) and shit from all albums in between. disc 5 is a mixtures of rarities, freestyles, remixes, and collabo's. ill stick to my opinion and say its one of the most solid releases this decade. yeah, the "rare cuts" were my projects, and have since spread their way all over the underbelly of the net.. ive seen my cover art on MANY sites.. including youtube.. funny how shit finds its way around the net once it leaves the computer. i just found an old thirstin howl III freestyle vid i ripped over 10 years ago on youtube, still had the poizon distribution splash screen intro. kinda cool.
fuck the norm. the future starts with the ending of old ways. labels like cane corso, johnny23.. and shit, even Death Grips.. are changing the game in my opinion. fuck all the generic junk ive been hearing lately (even some releases by artists i used to enjoy) .. its 2012 you mindless fucking drones .. it takes a bit more creativity to keep me entertained at this point.
